    Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Story of Arceus

    It’s always the same.

    It’s a story heard a hundred times: a boy in a field,

    meeting a longtime friend,

    joining a guild of adventure.

    Avery, now a Plusle, is dropped into a fantastical adventure of drama, high fantasy, laughs, and excitement. He’ll grow stronger, make friends and find love in a journey across this mysterious new world. A nefarious opposing guild of thieves seeks artifacts that threaten the land and all of Avery’s new friends. Now it’s up this human, the HERO OF ARCEUS, to save the world.

    But there’s always another side.

    As his journey goes on he will uncover the darkest secrets of the city and its citizens. In time, he’ll learn just how much the veneer of sunny smiles, friendship and family can mask the ugly and terrifying truths of this world.

    No…this is no story.

    [AVERY]

    PLUSLE

    The Hero of Arceus. The Conduit’s Chosen. The Captain of Team Azure. These are the human-turned-Plusle’s titles that have been foisted onto him in the short time he’s been lost in this world of Poke’mon. Plagued with nightmarish dreams and surrounded by shadowy conspiracy, yet Avery himself is simply a meek and friendly person with a simple goal in the face of great adversity: Save Everybody.

    [VIZON]

    RIOLU

    Every story like this need a partner, so naturally it’d be a Riolu! And not just any Riolu, but the first Riolu that Avery happened to run into on his first day: Vizon of Arceliaze. Naturally, he’s a boisterous, excitable guild hopeful that dreams of heroism amid his fanboyish fantasies of fighting bad guys alongside the guild members he looks up to so much.

    But, there’s always another side. Vizon has something broiling within him. Something much less admirable. Something that’s festered and taken deep roots within him.

    EEVEE

    The captain of Team Duskwalker, currently the most senior member of the Arceali Guild and considered one of the last All-Star guild members left. Nivanee has gained renown for her professional, high-quality work both in crime fighting and small jobs, practically a celebrity of the guild. Yet despite this, she is an eager mentor to her junior guild members, always wanting to guide them to being their best selves while carrying nothing but love in her heart for her family.

    Although she’s usually solo these days she isn’t a solo team at all! Her partner is her little sister Janus who tends to be absent often…

    [LAHNAE]

    TORCHIC

    The captain of the now-2nd youngest guild team, Team Spade (though she’ll insist leadership is a group effort between she and her partner). She’s an amped-up, pumped-up, no-holds-barred, no-corners-cut hard-headed explosive barrel of golden-hearted stubbornness. Saddled with legendarily terrible luck, her team is considered the most abysmally performing team in the history of the Arceali guild with a mission completion count of 0 in the three years she and her partner have been operating.

    But Lahnae is NEVER one to give up. She’ll NEVER take easy missions and by Arceus she will NEVER EVER QUIT.

    [LOSHJNO]

    SQUIRTLE

    The second-in-command of Team Spade, Lahnae’s Squirtle partner is quite the contrast to the bombastic team-captain. Loshjno seems to be pretty laid-back an easy going. Though he takes bumps and bruises with pride he also sometimes seems like he’s barely trying at all. One might even think he’s holding Lahnae back, but the Torchic still wouldn’t have any other #2 on Team Spade.

    Though, sometimes Loshjno seems to know a little more than he ever lets on…

    [KIPUUNA]

    PIPLUP

    The Team Captain of the currently 2nd oldest team, Team Aquashock. Kipuuna has garnered infamy as a slow, unambitious and cowardly leader whose teams only ever take easy and safe jobs. However, in person the Piplup is anything but lax. He’s wheedling, controlling and extremely defensive, especially when it comes to his partner, and would prefer it if every team in the Arceali Guild followed Aquashock’s example.

    [GANISUS]

    SHINX

    The partner member of Team Aquashock and, supposedly, Kipuuna’s best friend. It’s only supposedly, however, as Ganisus seems very flat and expressionless around Kipuuna. However, Ganisus seems flat and expressionless in general. The Shinx has a strange poker face and very blunt mannerisms, often speaking what’s on his mind with no filter.

    And for some reason, Kipuuna seems to cling to him very tightly…
