I really just wanna say again: I always adored the old style shading – especially in this chapter. When Yalini is taking a ride on Manaphy the shading has this…ethereal quality. A bright glow that shines through the whole panel with contrasting shadows and sky. It looks like if you were to take a sapphire jewel and hold it against a light – every panel looks like a jewel. It’s genuinely such a unique look…always love looking back at these pages <33
